Police have appealed for information after someone threw a rock at a car with children inside in Dunfermline’s Duloch Park on Sunday July 3.
The incident took place at around 1pm in Nightingale Place and involved a blue Toyota Auris which was being driven by a woman who had two children in the car.
The rock chipped the front windscreen and, although the glass did not break, those inside the car were said to have been left badly shaken by what happened.
Inspector Ian Flynn, of Dunfermline Police Station, said: “This was extremely reckless conduct which could have caused an accident and injury to the occupants of the car, and those nearby.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
