Four vehicles seized by police in Levenmouth are being sent to the crusher.
The cars were uplifted by local officers as part of a clampdown on vehicle crime called Operation Reflector.
As part of the operation, a day of action was held on Thursday, July 7, leading to the confiscation of a Skoda Fabia, Vauxhall Astra, Nissan Juke and Volkswagen Lupo.
Police Scotland said the cars would be destroyed at a later date.
In addition, the force confirmed an 18-year-old man from Methil had been arrested and charged with a total of 12 offences including theft and careless driving.
Community Sergeant Craig Fyall from Levenmouth Police Station said: “This is another example of positive action taken to remove illegal vehicles from our streets and we will continue to be proactive to clamp down on any person driving illegally on our roads.
“If anybody has any information in relation to the illegal and antisocial use of vehicles, they can contact police on 101 or through the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
