Residents were left horrified when a cross dresser with a sex aid clamped between his legs emerged from a car outside their Fife home.
A court heard John Suares thought he was in a “remote area” when he committed the act of public indecency.
Home owners in Inverkeithing called the police after they saw the man emerging from his parked car in broad daylight.
When he got out of the vehicle, Suares was wearing female clothing and holding a sex toy between his legs.
The 42 year-old later said he thought it was a remote area with no homes.
Appearing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Suares admitted that on March 28 at Ballast Bank, Inverkeithing, he committed an act of public indecency by holding a sex aid between his legs whilst dressed in female clothing.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf told the court the incident occurred at around 1.40pm when two residents of a house became aware of the accused.
“He appeared to be in female clothes when he got out of his car,” she added.
Suares was seen to be wearing stockings and had a sex aid between his legs and the police were called.
The number plate of the car was traced and Suares admitted to officers that he was a cross-dresser and would sometimes try to find a “quiet spot”.
The depute fiscal said Suares had been holding the sex aid between his legs as he was walking.
Suares, of Kilsyth, told police it was not a sex act and pointed out his genitals had not been exposed at any time.
Defence solicitor Sarah Meehan said her client had “gone there because he thought it was a remote area”.
He did not realise there were houses there, she added.
Sheriff Craig McSherry called for reports and Suares will be sentenced on August 24.
