Six teenagers have been warned about their behaviour after baring their backsides at passers-by in Glenrothes.
Police were called following the incident on Wednesday evening near Caskieberran Primary School, and officers subsequently traced half a dozen youths responsible.
Local officers took to social media to condemn the “inappropriate prank” and said the teenagers, all believed to be boys, were “strongly warned and advised” regarding their conduct.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Fife were called following a report of inappropriate behaviour near to Caskieberran Primary School.
“The matter has now been fully investigated and advice has been giving to those involved.
“We would add that this is an isolated incident and there is no wider cause for concern.”
