The Royal Scot crosses the Forth Bridge on Saturday.
Rail enthusiasts were given their second treat of the week on Saturday when the Royal Scot steamed through Fife.
Built in 1927, the restored locomotive, one of only two of its class remaining, was touring the region as part of a charter tour around the Fife Circle line.
The engine has admirers around the world, and was exhibited in Chicago in 1933 as a showcase of British engineering prowess.
Dozens of fans lined the route on Saturday to watch the train make its way through Fife, before it returned to Edinburgh.
The locomotive had previously toured Fife last Saturday.
