Fire crews in Fife have extinguished an unattended bonfire in Methil after the blaze was reported to them on Wednesday evening.
Crews were called to the scene in Methil at around 6:30pm on Wednesday, with the fire visible from nearby Leven.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters successfully extinguished an unattended bonfire in the Mulberry Crescent area of the Fife town.
She added: “We are called at 6:33pm to reports of a fire to the rear of Mulberry Crescent.
“We mobilised one appliance and the crews [said] it was an unattended bonfire.
“Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire,” she said, adding that they had now left the scene.
