A pregnant woman was said to be shaken up following a three-car crash on the A914 Dundee to St Andrews road.
Emergency services were called to the accident involving a Renault Megane, Honda Jazz and a BMW 116d Sport at Forgan Smiddy at around 8.50am.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said an ambulance had been called as a precaution to treat a pregnant woman involved in the incident, but no-one is understood to have suffered any life threatening injuries.
The woman in question was checked over at the scene, although she did not require hospital treatment.
Traffic was delayed in the area due to the vehicles causing an obstruction in the road.
