Bands, bikes and even a bus bar brought thousands of people to Pittencrieff Park over the weekend.
The Festival of Dunfermline provided a packed programme of live music, entertainment and historic re-enactments.
Spectators were thrilled by a display of spectacular stunts by The Clan cycling team, back after proving a hit at last year’s event.
Marking 100 years since the outbreak of the Battle of the Somme, a scene from the trenches was played out by members of the Living History Scotland. People were also able to get into trenches built specially for the two-day event and see what soldiers would have experienced.
Fife bands took to the stage, including Moonlight Zoo and the Mona Lisa’s.
There were also food and craft stalls, a fairground, storytelling and a series of displays from groups including Carnegie Flyball Club and Dunfermline Aero Club.
Refreshments were aplenty, including at an on-board and open-air bar run by the Vintage Bus Bar.
Organiser Dunfermline Delivers declared the festival a great success.
