Two car garages have been badly damaged in a fire in Fife, with the daughter of the owner saying her dad is “devastated”.
Fire services were called to the fire at the motor trade business on Bow Street at around 4.40pm on Tuesday.
Seven appliances with teams of firefighters were sent to tackle the blaze which destroyed two buildings in the forecourt of C&G Autos.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said the blaze had spread from a large fuel container.
Two forecourt buildings on fire
Chelsea Green Celentano, whose father Matthew Green owns C&G Autos, said her dad’s property was “severely damaged”, as was a neighbouring auto business.
C&G Autos in Fife offers car sales, servicing and repairs.
She told The Courier: “(The fire) moved across to my dad’s garage which is C&G Autos.
“It burned two of the four garages in his forecourt.
“There were four fire engines in his forecourt trying to tackle the fire.
“They have only just got the fire under control (around 8pm).”
Chelsea said a neighbouring building had been burnt to the ground.
She added: “Thankfully no one was hurt but the business has been severely damaged.
It wasn’t just his job, it was his pride and joy
“My dad is devastated. It wasn’t just his job, it was his pride and joy, but again it is materialistic it can be replaced.
“They have good insurance so all should be well but will take a lot to rebuild.
“Not only were the garages damaged, vans have been burnt as well.
“I am not 100% sure of how it started, unfortunately. I’m sure an investigation will be carried out in due course.”
One witness to the fire said the fire was “huge” and said there had been “bangs” and thick black plumes of smoke from the blaze.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Operations Control mobilised seven fire appliances and a number of specialist resources to the scene at the town’s Bow Street.
“Upon arrival, firefighters were met by a well-developed fire which had taken hold of a large fuel container.
SFRS: ‘No reported casualties from fire’
