An investigation has been launched after a fire in a toilet block at a Fife school on Wednesday afternoon.
Three fire appliances were called to St Andrew’s High School in Kirkcaldy at around 3.30pm after the alarm was raised.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it appeared that two toilet roll holders had been set alight in the boys’ toilets, although no-one was injured.
All persons were accounted for, the spokesperson added, and the all clear was given at 3.53pm.
Parts of the building were evacuated, and parents were informed that school buses taking pupils home were delayed by 15 minutes.
The school added that any bags or coats in school which had been left behind can be picked up on Thursday.
