A fire broke out in the ground floor livingroom of a detached property in Strathmiglo around 9.15pm. An appliance from Auchtermuchty and an appliance from Newburgh were in attendance. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels to tackle the blaze. Crews left the scene around 10.35pm. The woman’s condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
