Police in Kirkcaldy are appealing for witnesses after the robbery in Alexander Street, Dysart around 8.45am Tuesday. The first suspect is described as male, approximately 40-years-old, 5 foot 10 inches tall, and of skinny build. He had a local accent and was wearing a blue hooded top. The second is described as being shorter than the first, also skinny, wearing a cream baseball cap, and spoke with a ‘squeaky’ voice. Detective Sergeant Colin Potter, who is leading the investigation said: “This has been a distressing incident for the resident. “I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact the police.” Anyone with information that can assist officers with their inquiries are asked to contact them on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
