Four people appear to have had a lucky escape after the car they were travelling in overturned on the M90 on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the northbound carriageway between Kelty and Kinross shortly before noon after reports that a silver Toyota Yaris was on its roof.
Police arrived to find that two men and two women had safely made it out of the car, although the inside lane was closed by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as debris was cleared and the car’s occupants were checked over by paramedics.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said the four people appeared to be unharmed but had been left shaken by what happened.
Traffic was reduced to just one lane between junction five and six for more than an hour, causing some delays in the area.
