The Post Office has confirmed that the new location for the branch will be the WH Smith store in the High Street, around 110 metres from its current site in Queen Anne Street.
The new branch will continue to provide the same range of services, with the exception of the Digital Application Service for the Home Office, which is available at Abbeyview Post Office in Dunfermline.
The Post Office’s final plans for Dunfermline have been shaped following a six-week public consultation.
Opening hours will be from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, with a 9.30am opening on Tuesdays, although the date for the move is not yet finalised.
