Fire crews have extinguished a fierce blaze which broke out in a house in Glenrothes on Monday night.
Crews from Glenrothes were called to the incident in Abbotsford Drive shortly after 8pm following a report of a fire within a terraced house in the street.
Firefighters arrived to find the property well ablaze, although the house’s occupants all made it out safely before they got there.
It is understood the fire started in a bedroom, but a full investigation is expected to be carried out to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said an appliance from Methil had also been called for backup but was not required in the end.
The spokesperson also confirmed there had been no casualties.
