Police have arrested two people following a drugs raid in Leven.
A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been charged under the misuse of drugs act after officers discovered a hydroponic cannabis plantation in Park Drive.
Ten cannabis plants with a street value of £1,000 were seized and the pair have since been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Community Sergeant Craig Fyall said: “This is another example of positive action taken to remove illegal drugs from Levenmouth’s streets.
“If anyone has information in relation to the distribution of illegal drugs, they are asked to contact police via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111; callers can remain anonymous and calls will be treated in the strictest confidence.”
