Image DC Thomson A three vehicle collision closed the A92 at Kirkcaldy on Monday morning. One person was taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries, following the incident at around 6.15am. The eastbound carriageway was closed for more than two hours following the collision, which involved two vans and a Kia Sorrento 4×4. Fire crews and paramedics were both deployed to the scene, with one person having to be cut free by fire officers. Another person is said to have sustained minor injuries, while the driver of the third vehicle is believed to have escaped uninjured. Large tailbacks were reported on the A92, with queues reported as far back as Cowdenbeath. The trunk road is now said to have reopened, according to police.
