A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on the M90 near Halbeath in Fife.
Police were called to the crash at 12.40pm.
The road closed in both directions at 1.05pm; however, the northbound carriageway reopened at 2.05pm.
According to Flight Radar 24, the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance left Glasgow at 12.45pm and landed in the area of the crash at 1.07pm.
The M90 fully reopened at 2:40pm.
Traffic was heavy in the area following the crash, with long queues in both directions on the M90.
Traffic Scotland urged drivers to use an alternative route and to expect increased journey times.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a road crash involving a motorcycle on the M90 southbound between junction three and four near Halbeath at 12:40pm on Sunday April 17.
“Officers attended and the motorcyclist was taken by to air ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.”
The Scottish Charity Air Ambulance has been approached for a comment.
