Emergency services were at Dollar Crescent on Monday.
A 22-year-old man was found dead in a Kirkcaldy property on Monday morning.
Police and two ambulances attended the house on Dollar Crescent in the Fife town just before 11am.
The circumstances around his death are currently unknown and it is being treated as unexplained.
Sudden death
Police confirmed an investigation into the sudden death is now under way.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended at an address in Dollar Crescent, Kirkcaldy, around 10.45am on Monday following the sudden death of a 22-year-old man.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
