A man’s body was discovered in Kennoway Den early on Tuesday morning, police have confirmed.
The man’s identity has not been revealed by officers investigating the find, although Police Scotland say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
The alarm was raised at around 8.35am, but emergency services are understood to have pronounced the man dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Fife responded to Kennoway Den at around 8.35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10 where the body of a man was discovered.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
No further details about the man’s age or background are likely to be released.
