Boy in hospital after accident with van in Kelty

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Kelty.

The 13-year-old was crossing Station Road when the accident happened at around 8.15am.

Police and ambulance attended and the youngster was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, where his condition is described as stable.

A police spokeswoman said: “He sustained injuries but they are not thought to be life-threatening.
