Knockhill will stage the first demonstration of an electric rally car in Scotland this weekend.
Spectators and rally competitors will be treated to the debut public run of the UK’s first 100% electric junior rally championship car, a specially kitted out Renault Zoe, for 14-17-year-olds.
It will go on display during the lunch break of the Grant Construction stages rally on Sunday February 12.
The car will be on show outside the circuit office where representatives from the Junior 1000 championship will be on hand.
The car will also go on to drive some of the stages as a demo with junior rally driver Josh Hislop at the wheel.
It is all taking place in the season opener when the hills around the Fife circuit will ring to the sound of rally cars as they take part in the first round of the 2017 Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship.
There is a record entry of 66 with a huge selection of rally cars of all types and models competing.
Crews and rally fans are expected from all four corners of the country as they converge on Knockhill for more than 35 miles of challenging rally stages.
By using the conventional race track in both directions, the perimeter road and the hillside rally stage, some stages of almost five miles have been established.
This is the first rally of the year, but not the last, as Knockhill has landed a round of the prestigious Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship in December which will bring up to 70 crews from all over the UK.
The event starts at 8.31am on Sunday February 12 for the first of 10 stages with spectator gates opening from 7.30am.
