A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being discovered in a Fife street.
Police were alerted to North Street in Leslie late on Saturday night after a man was discovered lying in the middle of the road.
Officers sealed off the road to vehicles and an investigation was launched to determine the events surrounding the discovery.
Foul play has since been ruled out, however, and it is understood that the man collapsed due to a medical condition.
He is now said to be at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
North Street remained closed off throughout much of Sunday morning, with motorists diverted on alternative routes through the town. The road reopened at around midday.
