The woman found dead at a flat in Thornton on Valentine’s Day has been named as Lorraine Fowler.
Police are still treating the 39-year-old’s death as unexplained and have launched an investigation.
Officers were called to the property in Donald Crescent on Tuesday morning and there was a police presence at the house for most of the day.
It is understood the house was not the woman’s home address.
It is the second tragic death to happen on Donald Crescent in recent years – in 2014, toddler Liam Fee was murdered at a property on the same street by his mother Rachel Fee and her civil partner Nyomi Fee.
