Four members of staff have been suspended from a Glenrothes care home criticised by inspectors for putting residents at risk.
Glamis House, a supported living service for people with disabilities, was branded weak after a visit by the Care Inspectorate in March.
A report following the inspection said those living at the home, operated by Leonard Cheshire, were being put at risk of harm.
Inspectors said in a report that those using the service did not have their human rights respected.
It added:Â “People’s choices were restricted with no legal basis.”

Staffing issues at the service were identified, with relationships between staff and the leadership team described as “fractured”.
Several requirements for improvement were put in place by the regulator, but a follow up visit in May found several had still not been implemented.
This included a demand that up-to-date healthcare plans and risk assessments were carried out for those the service cared for.
But The Courier understands a third visit by the regulator in recent weeks found little progress had been made.
A Leonard Cheshire spokesman confirmed the suspension of four staff at the home.
He said: “A new management team is now in place to ensure necessary improvements are delivered as soon as possible.
“Despite additional training, as well as support from clinical and quality teams, progress was not happening at the level we needed, with concerns remaining.”
A source in the service told The Courier they are doubtful the new management team will be able to make the changes required.
Suspended staff at Glamis House ‘scapegoated’
They said concerns had been raised previously to Leonard Cheshire and there was a feeling shared among those who work at the service the suspended staff had been “scapegoated”.
A spokesman for the service added: “We recognise that there are still issues at this supported living service following the last inspection which need to be urgently resolved, and that it is not delivering the standards we expect.
“We continue to work closely with the Care Inspectorate and other relevant authorities to deliver positive changes for people living at Glamis supported living.”
