Police have charged three teenagers with culpable and reckless conduct after flares were set off during Dunfermline’s Scottish Cup tie with Hamilton earlier this month.
The trio, who are all aged 16 and from the Hamilton area, were alleged to have activated smoke devices during the match at East End Park on Saturday February 11.
Nobody was injured, but a full investigation was carried out by Police Scotland leading to the arrest of the three teenagers in connection with the incident.
A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The match itself ended in a 1-1 draw, with Dunfermline subsequently exiting the competition on penalties in a replay.
