Firefighters from Edinburgh were drafted in to tackle a blaze at a storage firm in Inverkeithing on Sunday.
Fire broke out at two lock up containers at M90 Self Storage in Belleknowes Industrial Estate shortly after 4am.
Firefighters from Crewe Toll fire station in Edinburgh were despatched to assist a crew from Dunfermline station at the scene.
They spent over an hour tackling the blaze which destroyed two shipping containers and their contents.
A spokesperson from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received an alert to a fire at a yard in Belleknowes Industrial Estate in Inverkeithing at 4.23am.
“On arrival two shipping containers were found to be well alight.
“Two crews, one from Dunfermline and a second from Edinburgh’s Crewe Toll station were despatched.
“The fire was brought under control and crews left the scene at 5.39am.”
The cause of the fire yet to be established however it’s understood no one was injured in the incident.
