The Royal Scottish Highland Games Association (RSHGA) along with The Fife Highland Games Association came together to recognise the achievements of many athletes that competed over the summer.
Nearly 100 attended from all over Scotland to receive special awards and overall league winners prizes at the Gilvenbank Hotel in Glenrothes.
Stewart Clark of Stonehaven was the RSHGA athlete of the year 2022 rewarded for winning three of the leagues.
Kyle Randalls of Falkirk was awarded heavyweight athlete of the year while Angela Bell of Forfar was the RSHGA female athlete of the year.
Isaac Small was also awarded the RSHGA cyclist of the year after a great season.
St Andrews-based RSHGA secretary Ian Grieve said: “This was the first awards meeting since 2019 due to Covid-19 and great that it was so well supported.
“Attention will now focus on the 2023 Highland Games season which is not too far away.”
