The plans also include a new primary school, community hall and commercial units.
‘Fife needs more new homes’
The new phase will see two, three and four-bedroom houses built, and is intended to create a more affordable path to home ownership.
James MacKay, Persimmon North Scotland managing director, said: “I’m delighted to see work begin on the latest phase of our Rosslyn Gait development.
“Fife needs more new homes and we’re committed to working with local partners to create vibrant, successful and sustainable communities.”
In addition to the new housing, apprenticeships and development opportunities will be offered to young people in the area.
