Dozens of Santas will get on their marks this month as the countdown to Christmas officially begins.
The annual Dunfermline Santa Dash takes place on November 20.
It sees children and adults dressed in red suits take to the streets before the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
And hundreds of people usually line the High Street to watch the popular fundraiser.
Entries for the colourful spectacle are now open and anyone who wants to take part can sign up.
This year people can do the traditional dash from East Port to the glen gates.
And there is also a 5k run round Pittencrieff Park
The event is organised by the Rotary Club of Dunfermline, which is urging as many people as possible to get involved.
Entrants can choose to raise money for any charity they choose, while the amount raised by the Rotary Club will go to Dunfermline-based causes.
