Thieves who broke into a house in a Fife village made off with more than £1,000 in cash.
The Drummorie Road property in Cairneyhill was broken into last week and £1,200 was reported missing.
Police officers investigating say the break-in could have occurred any time between Saturday, October 29 and 10.25pm on Friday November 4 when the incident was reported.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed £1,200 had been stolen from the property and an appeal for information has been launched.

They are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the break in or saw anyone acting suspiciously in or close to Drummorie Road, Cairneyhill between October 29 and November 4.
