GALLERY: Cupar Explorer Scouts help environmental charity volunteers with path repairs
ByReporter
A group of Cupar Explorer Scouts helped Sustainable Cupar volunteers clear out culverts, dig out silt and plant trees up the Moor Road between Cupar and Ceres.
The work helped repair damage caused during recent flooding and should help safeguard the footpath from further damage in future.
It follows work carried out by Explorers on the path in June 2021 when they helped with digging, moving big stones, designing water bars, and moving barrow loads of small stones.
Tree planting
Cupar Scouts and Explorers have also helped Sustainable Cupar plant trees along the banks of the River Eden in recent years.
A number of Cupar Explorers also helped Cupar Golf Club members steward at their community fireworks display on the evening of November 4.
