Celebrations kicked off in St Andrews on Tuesday for this year’s winter 2022 graduates.
The ceremonies took place at Younger Hall where hundreds of students passed through to accept their hard-earned degrees.
Amongst those graduating included, biology, computer science, maths, medicine, psychology, chemistry, environmental, economics, international relations, physics and astronomy, and geography students.
The university also recognised child-refugee campaigner Lord Alf Dubs, who recieved a Doctor of Laws, and world-famous singer-songwriter Joan Armatrading, who was recognised with a Doctor of Music.
Graduands were greeted with smiles of joy from proud family members and friends attending to show their support.
More ceremonies are set to take place on Wednesday.
