Police have appealed for witnesses after cars parked in Cupar had their tyres slashed.
Vehicles were damaged in Constable Acre, Skinners Steps and Parliament Square.
It is believed vandals struck on Saturday evening.
One of the motorists affected was home carer Ross Keatings, 39.
Mr Keatings had been working in Cupar at the weekend when he discovered his vehicle had been targeted.
“I went to get something out of the car and heard a hissing noise.
“Both tyres on the passenger side had been slashed multiple times.”
He said there had been more reports of tyres being slashed.
“A neighbour told me his son has a paper round and as he was delivering the papers, one of his customers had said he’d had an issue with his tyres.”
Police confirmed there had been multiple incidents where tyres had been slashed.
And they urged the public to get in touch with information which could help catch those responsible.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police in Fife are investigating following several reports of damage to tyres in the Cupar area.
“Inquiries are currently ongoing and officers would ask anyone who has been a victim of this type of criminality in the Cupar area to get in touch.
“Those with any other pertinent information are asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
