Heavy rain led to flash floods across parts of Dundee, Fife and Perthshire on Friday.
Met Office forecasters issued a yellow weather alert, warning the heavy rain could cause disruption throughout the day.
The pre-Hogmanay deluge left many locals scrambling to deal with the flash floods, with emergency crews and teams from Scottish Water called in to assist those in need.
In Fife, some drivers ended up with their cars submerged in deep flood water, while shoppers in Dundee City Centre faced downpours.
