A man has been arrested after four people ended up in hospital following a head-on crash in West Fife.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance and firefighters, were called to the scene on the A907 near Blairhall at around 1.20pm on Sunday.
The road was closed for about three hours while the incident was dealt with.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers received a report of a two-car crash on the A907 at Blairhall around 1.20pm on Sunday.
“Emergency services attended and four people were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

“One man was arrested and taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
“He will be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence.
“The road was closed for around three hours but has since fully reopened.”
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a report of a two-vehicle, head-on road crash.
“We sent two two appliances from Dunfermline to the scene.
“Firefighters using cutting equipment took the roof off one of the cars to get to the casualties inside.”
It was confirmed the air ambulance was called to the scene but was not required.
One eyewitness said: “An air ambulance has just arrived and is about to land.”
Another said: “Traffic was diverted through Blairhall village.
“I saw three ambulances with their blue lights on leave the scene.”
