Image: Kim Cessford / DC Thomson A driver was injured after his car landed on its roof in a crash in north Fife on Wednesday. The driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital following the crash that happened around 3pm. The extent of his injuries is unknown. The road was closed for a short time but later re-opened. Male driver taken to hospital A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving one car on the A914 near St Michaels, around 2.55pm on Wednesday. “The male driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital. “Recovery was arranged.” The driver of the car was taken to Ninewells Hospital.Image: Kim Cessford / DC Thomson Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were not involved in the incident. One eyewitness said: “Traffic built up really quickly and then police closed the road completely. “A car was on its roof and police and ambulance were at the scene. “I saw the ambulance arrive. Traffic was eventually diverted away from the scene.”
