Image: Steve Brown/DC Thomson Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body in a Fife river. Emergency services were called to the River Leven in Leslie just before 5.30am on Tuesday. The police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service – including a water rescue unit – were all in attendance. An area taped off by police near the scene. Image: Steve Brown/DC Thomson Officers remained at the scene on the A911 Leslie Bridge, over Lothrie Burn, which feeds into the river, for several hours. Image: Steve Brown/DC Thomson A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20am on Tuesday, the body of a man was discovered in the River Leven, Leslie. “There are no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin have been informed.”
