Man taken to hospital after road accident near Dairsie

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road accident near Dairsie.

The incident involving a Vauxhall Insignia and an Audi SE happened on the A91 near Todhall Farm shortly before 2pm on Monday.

The casualty was cut out of his vehicle by fire crew and taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by ambulance.

Although serious, it is understood his injuries are not life threatening.

The road was closed between Cupar and Dairsie.
