An investigation is under way into the sudden death of a man in Kirkcaldy.
Emergency services were called to a property on Forth Avenue on Thursday morning.
A 61-year-old man was found to have died inside the home.
Inquiries are ongoing into the cause of his death.
Police have said there appears to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
One person who lives nearby said she saw emergency services in the street in the morning.
They said: “I was driving when I saw two police cars and an ambulance parked on the street just up from the Best One shop on Forth Avenue.
“The ambulance and one of the police cars eventually left at about 11am.”
Police probe Kirkcaldy death
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Thursday we were made aware of the sudden death of a 61-year-old man at a property on Forth Avenue, Kirkcaldy.
“Inquiries are ongoing into the cause of death but there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.”
