A Rosyth based events organiser has had to cancel festivals which were to be headlined by the Happy Mondays and Gloria Gaynor.
Heads Up had been scheduled to go ahead at Falkirk Stadium on Saturday June 3 featuring acts including Salford indie rockers Happy Mondays and Mr C of The Shamen.
The next day the stadium was expected to host I Will Survive singer Gaynor and pop and disco favourites Village People, The Three Degrees, The Weather Girls, The Trammps and Boney M.
These Events Limited confirmed both festivals had been cancelled because of licensing and financial difficulties.
A spokesperson for These Events said: “It is with much regret that we have to cancel the above events.
“We endeavoured to bring something new and exciting to Falkirk and have failed due to licencing difficulties and subsequent financial problems.
“All ticket purchasers have been contacted directly via e-mail and any further enquiries should be directed to theseevents2@gmail.com.”
