Drivers faced delays on a busy Fife road after a two-vehicle crash.
The collision took place on the M90 northbound near to junction 2A in Dunfermline.
Lane one was closed while emergency crews responded to the incident, which took place at around 4.40pm on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland told motorists to expect 20-minute tailbacks.
The lane reopened shortly after 6pm and traffic has now returned to normal.

Police and ambulance crews were in attendance, but there have been no reports of anyone seriously injured.
Drivers took to social media to describe the heavy traffic in the area following the collision, with one saying that cars are “crawling” on the M90 from Rosth to Halbeath.
No one seriously injured in crash
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 4.40pm on Thursday, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the M90 northbound near to junction 2A, Dunfermline.
“Police and the Scottish Ambulance Service attended and there have been no reports of anyone seriously injured.
“Lane one is currently closed.”
