Barack Obama has teed off in St Andrews ahead of a charity dinner on Friday night.
The former US president enjoyed a round of golf at the Old Course in the morning, starting an hour after his jet was seen touching down at Edinburgh Airport.
He will address business leaders and take part in a Q&A in the capital at an event organised by businessman Sir Tom Hunter.
Tickets for the table of ten at the Hunter Foundation event went on sale from about £5,000 and quickly sold out.
Profits will be split between children’s charities in Scotland and the Obama Foundation, set up by the former president and his wife Michelle.
