There was a carnival atmosphere across Fife at the weekend as community events were bathed in glorious summer sunshine.
Communities took to the streets for their annual parades.
The inaugural Cupar Summer Fayre was kicked off with a colourful procession through the town centre.
Set up by a new committee to replace the former gala, the event is aimed at a wider age range.
Cupar Summer Fayre co-chair Pippa Gardner explained: “We tried to open it up to represent all the organisations and groups in the town.”
She said the committee was already thinking about next year’s event.
“There are a few things we are going to do, like have some more activities for nursery age kids and try to draw in more adult groups. We’ll make a few tweaks.
“But we’re really pleased with how it went.”
Cowdenbeath Civic Week’s parade day saw the battle between good and evil take to the streets.
The cavalcade included Storm Troopers, angels and devils.
This year, canine friends were represented in a variety of forms. There was an appearance by some Newfoundland rescue dogs, as well as Paw Patrol and 101 Dalmations themed floats.
Leven Prom Fest also went ahead, with entertainment including live music, a fun fair, craft stalls and a beer tent.
