Hundreds of runners took part in the Race for Life in Kirkcaldy’s Beveridge Park in the Sunday sunshine in aid of Cancer Research UK.

It was the first time that that men, women and children could participate together for the event, with the staging of the inaugural Fife Family 5k.

The race was hosted alongside the traditional 10k and 5k races, open only to women runners.
