Police investigating the disappearance of Glenrothes man Allan Bryant Jr are continuing their search of a house in the town.
Officers have been at the property on Barnton Place for a fortnight and are expected to remain there at least until the start of next week.
Police Scotland executed a search warrant to take control of the property in the Newcastle area of the town on Friday June 16 and forensics officers have been there ever since. Uniformed police are still stationed outside.
Allan Jr disappeared following a night out at a local nightclub more than three and a half years ago.
His father, Allan senior, has described the search period as “sheer hell” and said he did not expect to receive updates from the police until their enquiry was finished.
On Friday, he thanked the public for their support and again urged anyone with information to contact the police.
“Someone out there knows what has happened to our son, Allan,” he said.
“Please call the police and give them the information we so badly need. No-one needs to know your identity. You can do this anonymously and end this living hell for my family.”
Allan Jr was 23 when he vanished after a night out with friends at Styx nightclub on November 3 2013.
CCTV footage showed him leaving the venue in the early hours of the morning.
The search for the Glenrothes man is the biggest missing person investigation ever undertaken in Fife.
Allan Sr believes his son is dead and that the search is now for a body.
Police Scotland have confirmed their enquiries are ongoing.
