Delays on A92 in Fife after van crashes into field

There were long delays on the A92 in Fife on Monday morning after a van left the road and crashed into a field.

Large tailbacks were reported on the westbound carriageway near Lochgelly following the incident, which occurred at around 7.30am.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene, however, the driver was not trapped and was treated by paramedics at the roadside.

The person is not understood to have sustained any serious injuries.

Police halted traffic while the van was recovered from the field, with the road fully reopened at 9am.
