Police in Fife are appealing for witnesses after a car was deliberately set on fire in Dunfermline.
A Ford Ka was set alight at around 1am on Monday in Izatt Avenue. Fire crew attended and extinguished the blaze.
Detective Sergeant John Easton of Dunfermline CID said: “We are investigating this wilful fire-raising which was quickly dealt with by the fire service and no-one was injured. However it was reckless behaviour that we will not tolerate in our communities.
“Anyone with information about this incident or who saw anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 0135 of July 31.”
