With the opening of the Queensferry Crossing only days away information about traffic management has been revealed.
The £1.325 billion new Forth bridge will carry a 40 mph speed limit, with all traffic able to cross.
Cyclists and pedestrians will use the Forth Road Bridge to allow work to take place on the existing bridge to complete its transformation into a public transport corridor.
When the work is complete, public transport will be switched onto the Forth Road Bridge and the Queensferry Crossing will be given motorway status.
Details of traffic management and road layouts which will be in place when the bridge first opens are being made available on a new website, www.theforthbridges.org
