Woman taken to hospital following accident near Mossmorran

A woman was taken to hospital following a one-vehicle accident near Mossmorran in Fife.

The incident happened around 1.47am on the A909 road on Tuesday near the ethylene plant.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the car was on its roof when firefighters arrived at the scene.

“There was one female casualty who was taken to hospital,” he said.

“Two fire units attended and washed away petrol and debris.”
